ROCKWOOL MATTRESSES
LRB Mattresses are alsoknown as light resin bonded mattresses which are flexible rock fiber mattresses, stitched with wire mesh and manufactured from stable rock fibers bonded with a minimum quantity of thermosetting binder. LRB type of mattresses is easy to handle, resize and cut in desire shapes.
Technical Specification
1) Material Composition: Mineral fiber metal-mesh covered blanket is composed of rock fibers processed from the molten state into fibrous form and bonded with an organic binder and secured with metallic supporting facing. Free from asbestos.
2) Density: 70 - 160 kg/m3
3) Facing: Hexagonal shaped Metal Mesh with GI wire
4) Thermal Conductivity at 50 oC mean temperature for 100 kg/m3 density is 0.037 W/m.K
5) Service Temperature: up to 750 oC
6) Linear Shrinkage: Less than 2 %
7) Water Vapor Absorption: Less than 1 % by volume
8) Surface Burning Characteristics
(a) Flame Spread Index: < 25
(b) Smoke Developed Index: < 50
9) Odor Emission: No detectable odor of objectionable nature was observed
10) Corrosiveness to Steel: No Corrosion
